What is Kalsarp Yog or Dosha?

Nashik Trimbakeshwar Kal Sarp puja: The Kalsarp Dosh is built when all the planets are located between Rahu & Ketu. The moon’s north node and the moon’s south node Kalsarp Yog is built. Complete Kalsarp Yog is developed only when half of the chart is deserted by planets. Even if one planet is outside the Rahu Ketu Axis, then there is no Kalsarp Yog.

Why is Kalsarp Yog formed?

Kal means death and Sarpa means snake. Kalsarp Yog is more hazardous than other malign yoga. Kalsarp Yog influences a person till 47 years and sometimes all over his life. Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple

Trimbakeshwar is an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak, in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, India. It is 28 km from the city of Nashik and 40 km from Nashik road.

It is devoted to the god Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, where the Hindu genealogy registers at Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra are kept. The origination of the sacred Godavari River is near Trimbak.

Kusavarta, a Kunda in the temple premises is the source of the Godavari River, the longest river in peninsular India. Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao made this temple.

The temple is between three hills namely Brahmagiri, Nilagiri and Katagiri. The temple has three lingams representing Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma.

• Anant Kalsarp Yog – When Rahu and Ketu are in the first and seventh position in a horoscope then it is Anant Kalsarp Yog. • Kulik Kalsarp Yog: When Rahu and Ketu are in the second and eighth position in a horoscope then it is Kulik Kalsarp Yog. • Firstly, Kalsarp Shanti puja is of 1 day.
• Secondly, things required for doing puja.

For Gents – 1 underwear, 1 vest, 1 napkin, and 1 dhoti.

For Ladies – 1 saree, 1 blouse, 1 petticoat, and 1 napkin.

Above mentioned clothes should be new and should not be of black and green color. People should leave the clothes at Trimbakeshwar only after the puja.

• Further, people should book puja date well in advance. They provide their name, dates and mobile number to Panditji to avoid inconvenience.
• Followers should reach Trimbakeshwar till 6 pm one day before the vidhi.
• ID proof is important at all lodges in Trimbakeshwar to book a room.
